Programme

Day 1  

At 9am departure for the four destinations tour. The boat will first sail to Ilimanaq, the village south of Ilulissat. After a short visit, lunch will be served at Arnes (a local family). From Ilimanaq the boat will then sail to Ataa (an old Inuit settlement) where the Ilulissat Tourist Nature staff will welcome you at the Ataa Summer Camp. Dinner and night in Ataa.   

Day 2 

Today the boat will take you to the famous glacier of Eqi Sermia. The glacier is approx 30 km from Ataa. The boat will stop in front of the calvin glacier for about 2 hours before returning to Ataa. In Ataa you can try many different outdoor activities like: kayaking, canoeing, fishing, hiking or just relax anb enjoy the fantastic greenlandic nature. Dinner and night in Ataa.

Prices

The price includes:

- 3 days sailing tour;

- 2 nights accommodation in Ataa Summer camp including dinner and breakfast;

- Lunch in a local family in Ilimanaq;

- Lunch at the Restaurant H8 in Rodebay;

- Free use of all the facilities in Ataa (kayaks, canoes, etc.)

- Transfer by bus from and to the accommodation;

Notes:

- The excursions can be cancelled or modified depending on the weather conditions, sea conditions or for safety reasons. The excursion might not be able to reach all the destinations listed on the itineraries above.
- Its required to the participants to bring only one piece of luggage with a max weight of 15 kg.

- Accommodation in the huts in Ataa are in double rooms with bunk beds or single beds in a 4 people house. There is no electricy or running water at the camp.
