Ataa Station

Ataa is located about 65 km north of Ilulissat on the eastern side of Arveprinsens Ejland ("Crown Prince's Island") in Ataa Sound.

Arveprinsens island is deserted during the winter months but in summer is one of the Greenlanders holiday destination. From Ilulissat, Sarqaaq and the other villages of the Disko bay the locals reach Arveprinsens Ejland with their boats looking for nature, peace or for hunting and fishing.

It is one of the best places where you will be able to see most of the arctic animals and plants.

It is also a perfect location for reaching the famous Eqi Glacier which is only 25 km distance from Ataa Summer Camp.
