Boat tour with 3 different destinations in the disko bay area in 2 days. Accommodation, meals and activities at Ataa Summer Camp in Ataa. This tour is an alternative to the daily Eqi tour for those guests who prefer visiting the calving glacier and then realx in the small and cozy Ataa Summer Camp for the night.  

The tour includes also the visit to the village of Rodebay including lunch.

Programme

Day 1  

Departure from Ilulissat at 9 am. The boat ride to the glacier of Eqi will take approx 4-5 hours depending on the boat. At Eqi the boat will stop at approx 500 metres from the glacier. Lunch will be served on board. After visiting the glacier the boat will sail to the old settlement of Ataa where Ilulissat Tourist Nature have a summer camp. Dinner and night at the camp.   

Day 2 

After breakfast the boat will sail to the village of Rodebay. The boat ride is about 3 hours. On the way to Rodebay we will try to search for whales that normally swim around the area of Pakitsoq. At the village the guest will enjoy lunch at the restaurant H8. After lunch and a short visit to the village the boat will take the guest back to Ilulissat. Arrival around 4pm.

Prices

The price includes:

- 2 days sailing tour;

- 1 nights accommodation in Ataa Summer camp including dinner and breakfast;

- Lunch on board on the first day;

- Lunch at the Restaurant H8 in Rodebay;

- Free use of all the facilities in Ataa (kayaks, canoes, etc.)

- Transfer by bus from and to the accommodation;

Notes:

- The excursions can be cancelled or modified depending on the weather conditions, sea conditions or for safety reasons. The excursion might not be able to reach all the destinations listed on the itineraries above.
- Its required to the participants to bring only one piece of luggage with a max weight of 15 kg.

- Accommodation in the huts in Ataa are in double rooms with bunk beds or single beds in a 4 people house. There is no electricy or running water at the camp.
