The Summer 5
days holidaysis a
package that includes the city tour, the Sermermiut walk, the midnight tour
to the Icefjord and the famous 4 destinations tour which is 4 different
destinations in the Disko bay area (Ilimanaq,
Ataa, Eqi Sermia and Rodebay)
in 3 days. Accommodation in Ilulissat and Ataa at Ataa Summer Camp.

Programme
|
Day 1 |
Arrival in Ilulissat ín the
afternoon. A guide will
welcome you at the airport and will take you to the accommodation
where there will be a short briefing on Ilulissat, Greenland and
the excursions. |
| Day 2 |
At 9am departure for the
four destinations tour. The boat will first sail to Ilimanaq,
the village south of Ilulissat. After a short visit, lunch will
be served at Arnes (a local family). From Ilimanaq
the boat will then sail to Ataa (an old Inuit settlement) where
the Ilulissat Tourist Nature staff will welcome you at the Ataa Summer Camp. Dinner and night in Ataa. |
| Day 3 |
Today the boat will take
you to the famous glacier of Eqi Sermia.
The glacier is approx 30 km from Ataa. The boat will stop in
front of the calving glacier for about 2 hours before returning
to Ataa. In Ataa you can try many different outdoor activities
like: kayaking, canoeing, fishing, hiking or just relax anbd
enjoy the fantastic greenlandic nature. Dinner and night in
Ataa. |
| Day 4 |
After breakfast the boat
will sail south to Ilulissat stopping in Rodebay
for lunch. Arrival in Ilulissat around 4pm. Our bus will be
waiting for you and it will take you to the accommodation. |
| Day 5 |
Meeting with a guide in
the morning for the city tour. The tour will ba approximately
2,5 hours. After lunch the guide will take you to the famous valley of
Sermermiut (1,5 km from Ilulissat) where Inuits settled more
than 3000 years ago and where you will be able to admire the
icebergs of the famous Ilulissat icefjord. After dinner, around
10pm, there will be the midnight sun tour to the icefjord. 2,5
hours sailing among the massive icebergs of the Ilulissat
Icefjord. |

Transfer to the airport

The price

destinations tour with 2 nights accommodation full bord in Ataa;
- 3 night accommodation in Ilulissat with breakfast (mini apartment accommodation
does not include breakfast)
- Transfer by bus to and from the Airport and to the excursions;
- Boat tour to the icebergs:
- Guided city tour;
- Guided tour to the valley of Sermermiut;

The excursions can be cancelled or modified depending on the weather
conditions.
The excursion might not be able to reach all the destinations listed
above.
- Its required to the participants to bring only one piece of luggage
with a max weight of 15 kg.
