Terms and Conditions 

Please kindly read these terms and conditions carefully. On booking or when making reservation over the phone or by email, you are deemed to have read and accepted our Booking Conditions and Excursions and Tours Conditions, and are accepting the terms of these conditions on behalf of all persons in the party.

Ilulissat Tourist Nature is specializes in boat tours, dog sled tours, hiking, walking and accommodation, whose registered office is at Kussangajaannguaq 5, 3952 Ilulissat, Greenland.

These terms and conditions constitute an agreement with Ilulissat Tourist Nature. By entering the site you accept these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, and it is your responsibility to check these terms and conditions regularly in case there are any changes. Continuing to use the site after a change has been made is your acceptance of those changes. 

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Rate: 

Tour prices are valid till December 2010 is net price and quoted in Danish Krona and Euro per person 

2. Deposit and Cancellation

Deposit payment can be settled by bank transfer. Deposits are generally 40% of the total amount of the holiday package or the tour/excursion price. Cancellation will be charged as follow: 

- More than 45 days prior to trip departure. No charge. 

- 30-45 days before arrival: 10% charge 

- 15-29 days before arrival: 40% charge 

- 2-14 days before arrival: 60% charge 

- Within 2 days before arrival: 100% charge 

3. Final Payment

Final payment is due at arrival in Ilulissat or before the tour departure. These payments are due in our office. If final payments are not received on time, Ilulissat Tourist Nature may cancel the reservation and apply the cancellation fee. Except as otherwise agreed by Ilulissat Tourist Nature, Client's payment shall be executed by cash or credit card. Except for cash payment or Visa DK, a service charge of 6% is applied. In cases where credit facilities have been agreed with the Client/Agent, payment shall be executed by swift or bank transfer to the appropriate Ilulissat Tourist Natures bank account. Any bank charges applied by the sending bank relating to transfers to Ilulissat Tourist Nature must be paid by the Client/Agent. Payment will be settled through our bank account at least 30 days before arrival 

4. Refund of Unused services

No Refunds or exchange can be made in respect of accommodation, sightseeing tours, boat tours, dog sled tours, transports or any other services which are included in the tour prices but not utilized by the tour member. 

5. Children price discount

Under 2 years: Free of Charge 

From 2 to 12 years old: 50% of adult's fare 

TOURS AND EXCURSIONS TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

1 - RIGHT OF ADMISSION 

For safety, Ilulissat Tourist Nature reserves the right to refuse admission if any potential passengers appear in alcohol and or drug effected Ilulissat Tourist Nature has the right to refuse admission.

2 - MINIMUM PARTICIPANTS 

All our tours and excursions have a minimum number of participants required. If this number s not reached Ilulissat Tourist Nature shall cancel the tour. In that case Ilulissat Tourist Nature will refund the tour to the clients. 

3 - EXCURSIONS AND TOUR ITINERARY CHANGES

In case of bad weather or sea conditions or ice in the bay, or snow condition on the dogsled track the tour can be shortened or cannot reach the agreed destination. It is up to the boat captain or the dog sled driver or the guide to decide, for safety reasons, a different route or destination or, at the end, to shorten the excursion. In that case Ilulissat Tourist Nature will NOT refund the tour to the clients. 

4 - CANCELLATIONS BY US

We reserve the right to cancel your booking under some unavoidable circumstances (bad weather or sea conditions, ice in the bay, snow condition on the dogsled track or boat technical problems). If we cancel your booking, you can either get a refund or accept an alternative from us of equivalent or similar standard and price, if one is available, and we will always refund the difference in price if the alternative is of a lower standard and price. 

5 - CHANGES BY US

We try to avoid making any "major changes" to your booking. If we tell you about any of these changes after we confirm your booking, you can either accept these new arrangements or accept an alternative from us of equivalent or closely similar standard and price, if one is available, and we will always refund the difference in price if the substitution is of a lower standard and price. 

6 - LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

Ilulissat Tourist Nature is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by passengers incurred due to delay, accidents, natural disaster, political actions and unrest must be borne by passengers. Passengers are required to have full travel insurance. Airline schedules and local conditions may be affect accommodation and itineraries. Should this occur, will endeavor to suitable arrangement of similar value. Participation on any tour implies full agreement to above conditions by all parties involved. 

Kayak liability Ilulissat Tourist nature warns that hirers that kayaking is a dangerous activity and that there are risks involved in kayaking. The hirers must sign the freedom hire indemnity form before hiring a kayak. 

Dog Sled tours liability Ilulissat Tourist nature warns that dog sled is a dangerous activity and that there are risks involved in it. Clients must sign the dog sled waiver form before the dog sled tour departure. 

7 - UNUSED SERVICES

No refunds or exchanges can be made with respect to accommodation, sightseeing tours, boat tours or dog sled tours or any other services, included in the tour price, but not utilized by the tour members. 

8 - CHILDREN

Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
